Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, is a 1999 Disney Channel Original Movie, starring Kirsten Storms in the titular role. It was directed by Kenneth Johnson and based on the book of the same name written by Roger Bollen and Marilyn Sadler.
Zenon is named after the chemical element xenon which means "stranger" in Greek.[1]
Some fans of the film have drawn similarities to the Japanese anime series Sailor Moon, right down to Storms' hairstyle.
