"We Are Family: Now Get Me Some Water!" is th twenty-second episode of the first season. The title is a reference to the Sister Sledge song "We Are Family."

Plot

As Miley is practicing a song, she is disturbed by Jackson playing video games. In order to get quiet, she goes to ask Rico for a raise for him, so that he'll have gas money to leave the house. Rico decides to fire Jackson, and Miley, feeling as it were her fault, hires him as Hannah Montana's assistant (Jackson decides to call himself "Hannah Montana's Vice President of Assistication"). She feels better, but Jackson makes a few mistakes, including forgetting to order a limousine to bring Hannah to an appearance and then firing the limousine service. After bringing Hannah and Lilly (dressed as Lola Luftnagle) to the appearance in his convertible and causing both of their hair to be messes, and dropping Hannah's dry cleaning in a parking lot. Miley decides to fire him. Just as that happens, Jackson walks in and presents her balloons and earings, causing her to relent and give Jackson the easy job of thanking everyone that worked on Hannah's set of "I Got Nerve" at an awards show. As he's thanking one of Hannah's dancers he injures him, and Jackson takes his place during the show without telling Hannah. He proceeds to make a mess of the song and is finally fired. Later Miley sweet-talks Rico into giving Jackson back his job.
