Tisdale underwent a rhinoplasty procedure on November 30, 2007. According to Tisdale, this was done for health-related reasons and not out of a belief in plastic surgery; her "septum was 80 percent deviated" and she had "two small fractures on [her] nose", and this was interfering with her breathing. She spoke to People magazine about the surgery, saying that it was important to her to be honest with her fans.[43]

In January 2007, Blender magazine stated, "Tisdale has a gift. Not an angelic voice or a dazzling personality, but an even rarer commodity: millions of "pre-sold" tweens eager to buy her debut album!".[44] Tisdale was romantically involved with Jared Murillo until March 2009.[45] In March 2007, Tisdale told Blender she was drug and alcohol-free, and doesn't smoke and went on to add, "my mom really instilled confidence in me, so I'm not somebody who'd be under peer pressure".[46] She was ranked #10 in Maxim's 2008 Hot 100 list.[47] In June 2008, Tisdale was ranked at #94 on Forbes' Celebrity 100 list.[48] Tisdale has appeared on the magazine covers of Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, Shape and several other magazines. Tisdale is cited several times in David Denby's book Snark. [49]

In 2007, she was named one of Teen People's "25 Hottest Stars Under 25."[9] Tisdale was ranked #6 in Forbes Hollywood's 10 Top-Paid Tweens list.[50] Tisdale earned $2.8 million from High School Musical 3.[51] In 2008, Tisdale was ranked #17 in the list of Forbes High Earners Under 30.[52]
